Why We Love the Bronco for Our Guided Tours

Some people pick their vehicle based on practicality. Others choose for style. But for Vermont Wayfinders, our choice was clear: the Ford Bronco. And it wasn’t just about looks or power—it was about history, adventure, and finding the perfect ride for exploring Vermont’s back roads in both comfort and capability.

A Bronco Legacy: From My First Ride to Today

For me, the Bronco isn’t just a vehicle. It’s part of my story. I grew up learning to drive in a 1978 Ford Bronco, getting a feel for the (off) road — I didn’t have my license just yet — in a vehicle that felt like it could take on anything. (Yes, that old photo is me driving the ‘78!) Later, I drove a 1988 Bronco, which only deepened my appreciation for what these rugged SUVs could do. So when Ford announced the 6th Generation Bronco release, I got my order in for one and tried my best to patiently await its arrival. Now, a 2021 2-door model is my daily driver, and I love it! When it came time to choose the right vehicle for Vermont Wayfinders, going back to the Bronco felt like coming home.

Built for Back Roads

Truly enjoying the journey in Vermont isn’t about highways and easy drives. The real magic happens on the back roads… the winding dirt roads, the elevation changes and steep hills, the scenic routes that many visitors never even know to take. The Bronco was built for this kind of terrain. With its advanced 4x4 capabilities, off-road tuning, and high ground clearance, it can handle Vermont’s back roads with ease. The Bronco ensures that we can get you to the most beautiful and remote places in Vermont without a second thought.

Rugged Meets Comfortable

Just because we love back road exploring doesn’t mean we want to do it uncomfortably! The beauty of today’s Bronco is that it combines rugged durability with modern comfort. Heated seats, advanced suspension, a high-tech cabin, and smooth handling make it the perfect blend of adventure and luxury. Whether we’re winding through scenic routes or tackling some rougher terrain, our Bronco offers a smooth, enjoyable ride.

Designed for Adventure

The Bronco isn’t just about power—it’s about experience. With its convertible top, you will immerse yourself more deeply in Vermont’s natural beauty. Feel the fresh mountain air, soak in the views, and enjoy the journey as much as the destination. It’s not just a way to get from point A to point B; it’s a way to experience the Green Mountain State up close and personal.

Your Seat Awaits

When you book a Vermont Wayfinders guided tour, you’re not just signing up for an adventure—you’re getting the ultimate Vermont road trip experience in a vehicle that was made for it. Whether you have a love for Broncos like I do or you’re just looking for the best way to explore Vermont’s hidden gems, we can’t wait to hit the road with you.
