The Best Way to Explore Vermont on Your Own
Planning a Vermont trip shouldn’t feel like a second job.
What is a custom Vermont day plan?
You tell me when you’re coming, who’s with you, and what kind of experience you want. I build a personalized day plan with scenic routes, worthwhile stops, food suggestions, timing guidance, and backup ideas if the weather changes.
You get a thoughtful framework for the day without having to spend hours figuring it all out yourself.
How is my custom day plan delivered?
You’ll get a PDF with an overview of your day and suggested route options, plus access to a companion app with an overview map of your stops, along with audio, photos, and text for each one.
From there, you make it your own. You can follow the plan closely, move at your own pace, skip a stop, or swap in another option.
Are these generic itineraries?
No.
Every plan is built by hand, based on the roads I drive and the places I trust. No templates. No generic lists. Just a plan that fits the way you actually travel.
What if the weather changes or we want to skip something?
These plans are built with flexibility in mind. If the weather is not cooperating or you want to skip a stop, you’ll have other options to consider. The plan gives you structure, but it does not lock you into a rigid schedule.
What part of Vermont do you focus on?
I focus on Central Vermont. This is where I grew up, where I run my private guided tours, and the part of the state I know best.
If you’d like to spend a day exploring Woodstock, Killington, Ludlow, Windsor, Weston, Grafton, Chester, Plymouth, and surrounding towns, this is for you.
Can this work if I’m staying somewhere else in Vermont?
Yes. A custom day plan can still work well as a day trip from places like Stowe, Waterbury, Bennington, or Manchester.
It’s also a great way to start a stay in Central Vermont. You’ll have an amazing first day and probably find a few places you’ll want to come back to later.
How much does it cost?
Plans start at $135 per day.
When can I reserve a date?
These are popular! And because I design all routes by hand, I only do a few a week.
I expect the waitlist to open in May. If you already know your travel dates, reserve them below for early priority when my calendar opens back up.
Do I have to pay to reserve?
No. There’s no payment required. Reserving a date simply holds your spot in line, and I’ll follow up when I have an opening.
